Welcome to Adirondack Art
Located in a small town within the Adirondack park, my home studio allows me to take a break from my life as an educator and look at the world from an artistic point of view.
Ever since I was a child I loved to draw and paint. My family became my first "customers" as I remember giving my projects as gifts for the holidays. They validated my love of art and encouraged me to continue practicing my skill.
In 2019, when COVID hit and we were all sent home from school, I took out my paints as a way to escape. Completely immersed in a project, painting became my vacation from the pandemic. With continued encouragement, I began posting on social media and found a new supportive fan base.
Now I have discovered a new world filled with multi-media formats and enjoy seeing my art displayed in a variety of ways. Whether it's a framed original on the wall, a set of notecards at a local bed and breakfast or a coffee mug in the break room, art is a universal language that everyone can enjoy.
Thank you for your support - Sonja
